Its story
Meridian’s recognised characteristics are its relatively low luminosity, combined with its position in a seemingly stable cluster of similar stars. The red shift value indicates that Meridiana has been on its path through space for a long, long time. Despite its small size and distance, the star possesses a clear, almost permanent, orientation to a prominent spiral arm in the Milky Way. There is minimal spectral evidence for a discernible spectral type – it remains a faint, solid white – and lacks prominent hues.
Given Meridian's distance, and age—estimated to be at least 4.6 billion years—one might reasonably hypothesize that someone might select Meridiana as a significant focal point in a ritual or meditation space. The sheer volume of the star's history combined with its apparent simplicity creates an object of serene, timeless energy, a silent witness to countless galactic cycles.
